| Tulip PurissimaThe classic of the classics is the creamy white Tulip Purissima. This fosteriana variety has been selling for decades and is famous for its large flower. This early blooming variety opens in early April and will flower for weeks. The strenght of Tulip Purissima comes from the botanical bloodline which flows through her veins, therefore the name means "purest" in Italian. Many other varieties have originated from Purissima and all have the same beautiful shape and strong genes. Registered in 1943. Winner of the RHS Award of Garden Merit. |
